Chicken gravy

Hello everyone, I hope you guys are doing well. This is the month of love and foods are essential to celebrate love. The month itself comes in winter time and foods consumption during this time digest very well. And today I'm back with another recipe which is known by many but cooked by several only. So let's start to make it and surprise our loved one with this delicious mouthwatering dish. Well i named it as swaswati chicken gravy. 
Ingredients:-

Chicken- 1kg
Oil- 4 tablespoon
Butter- 2 tablespoon
Bayleaf- 1-2 leaf
Dry chilly-1-2 piece
Onion- 3-4(slice cutting)
Tomato- 2(slice cutting)
Garlic- 2 whole piece
Ginger- 2 inch(according to garlic size)
Chicken powder- 1½ teaspoon
Garmmasala powder- 1 teaspoon
Cumin poweder- ½ teaspoon
Coriander powder- ½ teaspoon
Chilly powder- ½ teaspoon
Chilly- 3 ( chopped)
Salt- 1 tablespoon ( as per your taste)

Let's start the recipe with a smile in face.

A teacher is teaching a class and she sees that Robin isn't paying attention, so she asks him, "If there are three hens sitting on a fence, and you shoot one, how many are left?" Robin says, "None." The teacher asks, "Why?" Robin says, "Because the shot scared them all off." The teacher says, "No, two, but I like how you're thinking." Robin asks the teacher, "If you see three women walking out of a candy shop, one is licking her lollipop, one is sucking her lollipop, and one is biting her lollipop, which one is married?" The teacher says, "The one sucking her lollipop." Robin says, "No, the one with the wedding ring, but I like how you're thinking.
 
Now let's start cooking.
Method:-

Firstly, wash out the chicken thoroughly and place the washed chicken in a bowl. After that in the chicken put salt ½ table spoon, cumin powder ½ teaspoon, coriander powder ½ teaspoon, chicken powder ½ teaspoon, garam masala ½ teaspoon, slight chilly powder and some food colour (optional) and mix it well. Now the chicken have to marinate with spices  for 1 hour (you might not like to stay up for 1 hour and if so marinate it for 15 minutes. But keeping it for 1 hour will make it more in tastier). Till being marinate, We have to paste onion (sliced onion we have to keep) tomato, ginger and garlic well in a grinder. After 1 hour or 15 minutes of merinate turn on the stove and take the pan on the stove. Now add 4 tablespoons of oil and 2 tablespoons of butter on the pan in high flame, after the oil and butter gets heated reduce the flame. Then give bay leaf and dry chilly then fry it slightly. Now give the sliced onion and fry it until it's get golden in medium flame. After the onion's colour gets golden give the marinate chicken in it and fry it in high flame for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes add a bit chilly powder and chicken powder and mix it again in medium flame for 2-3 minute's. After 2-3 minute's put the onion, tomatoe, ginger and garlic paste,now mix it very well 5-6 minutes. After 5-6 minutes put half teaspoon garam masala and add some water to mix them well and cover it for 8 minutes in medium flame. After 8 minutes take off the lid and give 2 glass of water in the chicken then mix it up a little bit. Now put the chopped chilly in it and keep it to cook well for again10 minutes in high flame. In the mid time check the salt in the gravy. If salt has become according to your taste then turn off the stove and keep the pan aside.
Serve this chicken gravy hot with plain rice and fried rice also and feel it's deliciousness. I hope you guys will try it and impress Or surprise your loved ones.
